rarely snows in Tokyo but... snowed enough to stay on the ground today. pretty crazy. back home it wasn't such a big deal since you drive everywhere but when you need to walk almost everywhere or at least to the station it can be a drag to have all this snow/slush.

never seen people put up something around the lamp post after painting it so that nobody will get their hands wet... maybe it was because it was only 6:50am but at least 4-5 of the lamp posts were done up like this. strange strange strange...
